  Been twice, lovely pub. Friendly bar staff, not eaten there but menu looks nice and I've heard good things. Outside seating front and back with nice views.
  New pool table added in restaurant area which is an added bonus!!
  Heard the Sunday carvery is good BUT they don't serve food after 5pm on a Sunday so just a warning if you're peckish.
  Good location near to the beautiful Whitsand bay too!!
  The interior is also cool esp in the restaurant with loads of books, photos and old vinyl. Mix of modern and old feel.

  I'd heard that food had taken a down turn here a few years back so was very pleased to have had such an excellent meal here. The atmosphere was really friendly and easy going and the place is huge so no worries about not finding a table. The staff are super friendly, the service is great and it's really comfortable and cozy. And dog friendly too. I highly recommend. We'll be back!

  Friendly staff, food was lovely, roaring fire in the bar area. Dogs are welcome, we would suggest booking especially if you have a dog and want to eat in the bar as it's very popular. Parking is available right outside.

  Clean and comfortable rooms, dog friendly and warm welcome. The husband and wife team and their staff do a wonderful job to make a great experience and atmosphere. Clearly popular with regulars and tourists alike. Food is a big step up from normal pub grub and the prices are very reasonable.
